The Traditions Collection
Beautifully crafted, dramatic, highly detailed, small works graphite pencil drawings of individual stones found on the beaches near my home in Qualicum Beach on Vancouver Island.
The traditions handed down from one generation to another, and the memories from them, are the most precious to us. This collection reflects the memories I have of time spent with my family on the beaches of the west coast of British Columbia collecting rocks, shells, and beach glass. Today, these little “gems” that end up coming home with me help connect me with my past and the memories ground me.
My hope is that whichever one of these special pieces you choose to bring home with you, when you look at it you will be reminded to think of your own traditions lovingly passed down to you by the people you love.
